 Most of Disney is now computer designed and digitally printed.  There are a few signs and parts of Disney that are still painted by hand. Here are some of the hand painted and gold leaf signs I have helped out with. All the gold leaf is raw and unprotected for maximum brilliance. It is also very much out of the way so it can't be ruined. Gold never tarnishes by the way!

        

These are called the Disney Keys. They are 23ct gold and sit atop of the Main Street hotel sign
